Day 18 of 30: Russian Roulette aka Moving in Paris

Yesterday is quite hard to follow-up. It also happened to be moving day. If you have ever considered lugging your bags up 5 flights of stairs, up and down twice in one day, I suggest you reconsider. Not cool! Not cool! What's wrong with elevators?

We met Jessica and had a chance to hear about her trip to Miami. Happy to report that she had a wonderful time...Keys, Sawgrass, shoe shopping galore and Viscaya...all the Miami musts. She was super sweet!
Then off to meet Xavier's brother for the keys swap. He was also terribly helpful and offered up any advice we needed for the remainder of the trip.


We cabbed it over to our new spot, feeling like we deserved a treat for having made it down the stairs. Best idea ever! We scoped out our new neighborhood along the way and picked out a nice cafe to return to for dinner. Got dolled up and head over. It was perfect! Cafe Biarritz....wonderfully friendly staff and simple but delicious grub.

Feeling 100% satisfied and ready for some R&R we head back to our new casita to rest up for a new day.

Most of the metro stops are very different from each other...This one tickled my fancy and reminded me a bit of home.
