Day 17 of 30: Best day ever!

Powered by the yummy goodness of goat cheese salads and quiche, Erin and I hiked 5 miles to Pigalle. There we met up with Marine and Safia, two of the coolest girls in Paris, perhaps the world! A pit stop by the Moulin Rouge and we were off the Plaza Montmartre…small and packed with tourist. We managed to find a cozy spot in a gorgeous little café away from the crowds and enjoyed a drink and great company. Then to a rooftop bar with the second best views of Paris, Pompidou takes the cake on views in my book.

After a quick rest we head to the Buddha Bar. Marine was serving up drinks and damn good ones at that. It’s confirmed that she is the best bartender around. The drinks were unbelievably beautiful and delicious. They were adorned with hand cut designs, fresh fruits and serve up with style.

The place itself is absolutely gorgeous, check the pics for proof. The nigh turned out to be the best in Paris thus far. We were given the star treatment and we felt like a million bucks. Closed that place down and took the party to Café Chic. We drank, we sang and had a grand ole’ time. Marine, you are the best! Thank you for making it one that we will never forget.

Yes this is an enormous conch shell filled with delicious fruit and booze and set on fire. Four thumbs up!
